If you follow MMA closely, you probably know that Zuffa and Josh Gross don’t get along very well. Josh leaked some TUF results, Zuffa doesn’t credential him, and the rest of the world continues to operate. Apparently, the whole rift started when Gross turned down an offer from Zuffa to be the editor of UFC.com.
I now hate Josh Gross because he’s allowed this to happen.
Michael DiSanto analyzes Silva/Griffin “behind the numbers.” What numbers you ask? Beats the hell out of me. He stacks up each fighter in six key categories: physical size, age, experience, “current trend,” current layoff, and motivation. You know when NFL analysts pit team A’s offense against team B’s offense? Yeah, this is dumber than that.
How do Silva and Griffin stack up according to DiSanto? Well, Forrest is the bigger fighter, age “won’t play a difference,” Griffin somehow wins the experience battle because he’s been at 205 longer, Griffin trends better somehow coming off a loss, and Griffin’s clearly more motivated.
He caps it off with this retard drivel:
But things rarely unfold as they should inside the Octagon. Griffin has shocked the world twice before when he beat Shogun and Rampage.
Excuse me while I remove the puke from my mouth.
